I thought I was a Dashboard fan..... then I went to a Dashboard show.

This was a great night for many reasons! I was overdue for a concert with Amber, for starters. Despite the negative degree weather and having to wait in line till our toes were frost bitten, making new friends in that line turned out to be a major highlight. Talk about right place, right time.... a security guard I stood behind at the parking meter and made small talk with was kind enough to get me a photo-pass for these up-close shots. It probably helped that I met the opening band once before (at SXSW last year), of which I remember promising to one day take photos of.... was good to see these guys again! And finally - it was pretty cool to go to this show primarily for the opener, but then for the main act to be someone you also really enjoyed :) Double score!
