Cameron and I were sent to Hawaii for part 3 of a job interview and to research what it would be like to live there. We were there 5 days, and basically......we don't want to live there. Granted it is very beautiful and the weather is perfect year round, the cost of living is outrageously and unbelieveably expensive. Also, family and friends would be too far away.....and right now, being close to them is really important for us. Those are the biggest reasons. We knew a lot of that before going on the trip, but understanding it first-hand made the decision a lot easier. So, we are here to stay and have become even more grateful for affordable living in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. We pretty much love everything about the city we live in. We have lots of family and good friends close by. And more importantly, Cameron really likes the company he works for, and they treat him well. He's excited to accept their offer for full time/salary employment. Overall, it was a good experience to go out there, because now we won't have any -what if- concerns years down the road.

SURPRISE!!!! ..... Happy Birthday!
After we took family pictures, Cameron took me out to dinner at Biaggi's Italian Ristorante for my birthday. When we got home and turned on the lights.......SURPRISE! .....all my friends were there to party hardy! I was completely shocked and well.....surprised! Cameron pulled it off and I had NO clue. It was great! I'd secretly always wanted a surprise birthday party.....what an awesome way to celebrate 25! There were decorations, party hats, a chocolate fountain and a de-lish cake. Thanks everyone....I had a blast! What a great day!
This pic was taken in the dark as they were waiting for me to get home. Poor Cooper was sick, but he made an appearance. I was challenged to play chubby bunny and was able to stuff 8 large mashmellows in my mouth before I gagged.
