The Civil Wars were playing at The Paramount Theater in Austin on a night I was scheduled to fly to Austin. I didn't end up making the trip, but the desire of attending the show inspired me to have a celebratory concert for myself at home. So I hosted a private little show in my room thru my speakers the night of the actual concert. I set my ipod on shuffle as to create an unknowing setlist. I poured myself a glass of red wine, set the atmosphere and let the music soak in. It was quite wonderful. I danced a little, pondered some, imagined I was there.... And of course, with any music event I attend, I took photos :)
I've never been really good at journaling, but photos I can take.... and do take often. This is my blog. Here I tell... or mostly show..... the happenings in my life and what I see around me. Enjoy. Jessica Loucks.
"Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don't think that you've last time. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time."
This is your LIFE. Do what you love, and do it often. If you don't like something, change it. If you Don't like your job, quit. If you don't have enough time, stop watching tv. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. Stop over analyzing, LIFE IS SIMPLE. All emotions are beautiful. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things and people, we are united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is, and share your inspiring dream with them. TRAVEL OFTEN; getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once, seize them. Life is about the people you meet, and the things you create with them so go out and start creating. LIFE IS SHORT. Live your dream and share you passion.

"The future is foretold from the past and the future is only possible because of the past. Without past and future, the present is partial. All time is eternally present and so all time is ours. There is no sense in forgetting and every sense in dreaming. Thus the present is made rich. Thus the present is made whole."
