Shane Alexander, Yes & Styx @ Red Rocks
I met Shane Alexander, musician extraordinaire, on a Portland trip in 2009. When I heard he was opening for Yes and Styx at Red Rocks Amphitheater (a momentous opportunity for a musician), one of my favorite venues, I was overjoyous for his good fortune and I couldn't wait to be apart of it. Little did I know I was actually going to be a part of it, when he asked that I would document the experience with my photography. I was ridiculously nervous knowing his standards, but grateful for the opportunity.... this venue of all venues. It was an overwhelming task, to say the least, but all around wonderful getting to be in "the belly of the beast".
"The Wall" underneath the Red Rocks stage where every artist who's ever performed there has signed their name. It was quite an honor to be witness to it. 
Soundcheck.
A Styx show isn't a Styx show until you've rocked and danced with these girls.... I couldn't have asked for better company.
